Q1. Where do the recipes on RecipeCenter.com come from?

A1. RecipeCenter.com gathers its recipes from a variety of sources including:
Food Associations
Professional Chefs
Site Visitors
And a compilation of recipes was taken from public domains.

Q2. Can I submit my own recipe?

A2. Yes, you sure can! As a matter of fact, we encourage it. You could:
1) Submit recipes by using RecipeCenter Software
2) Email your recipes to recipes@recipecenter.com
3) Become a member of RecipeCenter.com and visit us at www.recipecenter.com/postrecipe/.

Q3. Will I be given credit for the recipes that I submit?

A3. All recipes submitted to RecipeCenter.com be it from site visitors or from the food associations, are duly acknowledged.

Q4. What does being a RecipeCenter.com member mean?

A4. Being a RecipeCenter.com member gives you additional access to the various aspects of the site. As a member:
1) You can post your own recipe on the site
2) You can maintain your own personal online cookbook with your favorite recipes
3) You can play our exciting food games
4) You can post your food-related question to any of our expert chefs
5) You can be eligible to win special prizes from RecipeCenter

Q5. Does RecipeCenter.com make its recipe content available to other sites?

A5. RecipeCenter.com prides itself in its extensive database of recipes. RecipeCenter.com maintains complete ownership of the recipes; however, these recipes are made available for use by other sites in one of two ways.
1) Access the code for the RecipeCenter Search box at linktous.asp and encode it directly on to your site
2) Contact info@recipecenter.com

Q6. How do I search for the recipe/recipes that I am looking for?

A6. There are three ways you can search for recipes:
1) Keywords. Type in the keyword of the recipe you are looking for in the recipe search box and then click on Search. RecipeCenter will list the results of your search in alphabetical order.

e.g. chicken curry recipes. Type in chicken curry and then click on Search

2) Ingredient. Type in the various ingredients you want to be used in the recipes by putting it in the specified text box and adding a space between ingredients. RecipeCenter will list the results of your search in alphabetical order.

e.g. carrots, chicken. Type in chicken carrots and then click on Search.

3) Categories. Simply choose the category of the recipes you are searching for. Click on the drop down menu, highlight your choice, and click on Search. RecipeCenter will list the results of your search in alphabetical order.

Q7. What does the x mean in the units of measurement for the ingredients?

A7. The x in the units of measurement simply means "number of" or "quantity of".

e.g. 2 x eggs, large mean 2 large eggs. 2 x tomatoes = 2 tomatoes. 1 x ground ginger, 1 ginger, grounded.

Q8. How do I unsubscribe for the recipe of the day email or the monthly newsletter?

A8. You can:
1) Visit us at Unsubscribe.asp to delete your name from our mailing lists.
2) Click on the link provided at the bottom of the newsletter or recipe of the day email. This will directly unsubscribe you using the email address that you are currently using.
